Many, many good people. Not all, but many.

Cons

Absolutely no leadership. The disconnect between the 'head' and the 'hands' is so great as to be difficult to fathom. Laughable if it didn't impact hard working folks - they keep having layoffs of 'the little people' but keeping full cadre of 'executives.' Without workers, what is all that management managing/

Pros

Good benefits, though they continue to erode. Depending upon the department and manager, some are much better than others. Stay away from IT and accounting. Terrible leadership! If you can even call it that.

Cons

Terrible atmosphere of fear, retaliation, lack of accountability, lack of progress. CIO literally yells at people, and acceptable since there have been numerous complaints to HR...IT dept is clueless and people are so far over their heads it's absurd. The egos are unparalled, but without cause or reason. People in upper positions act entitled, rushing to fix things for the execs, but leave the regular people to fend for themselves and without resources or tools.

Good people, good work environment, keeps abreast of latest trends in work management, good benefits Strong business processes.

Cons

Became a larger organisation during period of increasing gold price, with many roles not necessary. Large Head office and regional offices duplicating effort and diluting direction. Due to detailed of business processes can lead to lack of responsive to opportunities.
