Pros

Flexible schedule allowing me to work from home when I needed to. Good benefits with lots of paid time off. Nice facility to work in.

Cons

Direction comes from too many people and it was hard to figure out who was really my boss. Seems there's few opportunities for women even with good credentials.

Pros

The benefits are extremely good, which makes it difficult for employees to leave, even when there is nothing left for them to do and nowhere for them to go career-wise.

Cons

There are WAY too many senior executives - and they continue to hire more. That could be a result of the existing executives being extremely poor at running the company. However, hiring more is not the solution, cleaning house is the solution. The mining industry is on the decline, so there is less and less work for the employees to do, so the company is WAY over staffed for the work to be done. That also means there is little to no career path for those that remain.
