      Still Having Growing Pains

      Pros

      Relaxed yet still professional office. I sincerely like every person in the office. No one is breathing down your neck, as long as you get your projects completed, you are free to do your work in your own way.

      Cons

      The core company has been buying other CRE companies like crazy for the past 2 years. That places huge stumbling blocks in the path of systems intergration, websites, networks, etc. Wish we had better computers/network/bandwidth.

      Pros

      Great atmosphere. Culture is much better than some other commercial real estate firms, very open and focused on collaboration and information sharing. Solid commission splits with bonus structure. Supportive of agents with technology, marketing, printing materials, etc.

      Cons

      Minimal training available. Not a good place to start out career; rather, a better firm to bring your book of established contacts to.

      Pros

      Flexible schedule, strong chance at large commission. I've been able to make everyone of my friends weddings, etc, and the fee on a large deal is big money.

      Cons

      No base salary, overcrowded industry. It's an incredibly competitive market with little loyalty and no tools other than a phone and a desk.
