Pros

Career Growth ------------------- At ness, i have been given wider platform to enhance my career growth, good thing is i have made a habit of going away from my comfort zone that really helped me in exploring different technologies which put me in a great trajectory w.r.to career Benefits ---------- There are plenty of benefits working at ness, one is we have spot awards, quarterly awards, annual awards and also social platform where employees would be appreciated by their co workers. And also finance wise we have benefits that can help me in taking loans with no interest component. Insurance wise we have good premium for the employee and family too. Culture and Values ----------------------- Ness for me personally stands for innovation and till now projects that i have been involved in are very unique and that helped me in enhancing my technical skills, ness always encourages culture of cross team functionality where i have the option of switching to different projects handled in different ness country branches too in which way i will be exposed to other team's culture and also learn plenty of things Worklife Balance --------------------- Before Covid, we had option to work from home when ever needed like managers were flexible in giving us freedom to work from home, post covid company did encourage employees to work from home despite having less cases and is no way stringent in demanding employees to work from office as such Senior Management / Management, and Career advancement opportunities ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have worked under excellent managers in a way that they have really helped me in pushing my limits where they have asked to undertake some challenging tasks in different projects on need basis and solve the issues Digital/niche technologies they work on -------------------------------------------------- When i joined ness there were projects related to big data, full stack projects focussed on web crawling, within five years company has diversed in different areas like machine learning/AI, heavily on cloud technologies where we have the option to get certified and company does reimburse the amount too Opportunity to participate in hackathons --------------------------------------------------- Ness does conduct hackathons where we have the chance to show the ideas in the form of POC's, this platform helped me in exploration of different areas and we meet some like minded people who are ready to share their knowledge and help Codefest, TechTribe and other such events ----------------------------------------------------- Recently we have this techtribe where any employee in the company can provide a presentation on any topic they are well versed with, for me its really good opportunity firstly to release fear and come out of my comfort zone and having many people in the session really does help because i can get rid of this impostor syndrome as well. Tech tribe helped me in presenting the topic in lucid way so that others can understand, it had helped me in two ways one is presenting topic and preparation of the demo and ofcourse there would be Q&A session where we can clarify doubts and good thing is if for some reason i cant answer other people who had worked on the topic would share their knowledge as well Focus on continuous learning and access to assessment tool and learning platforms, compensation, rewards and recognition, CSR and engagement programs etc. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At ness, we have plural sight initially to explore our knowledge in different areas, now a days buying courses in a platform isn't cheap and here is where company has invested on securing good learning platforms that really helped me. Now a days there are way many courses that easily entice and its really difficult to choose a particular one and work towards it because its little hard to know the quality of the content. Recently ness has employed Percipio platform that has rich content quality wise about any topic and a very good learning path which is very important for any beginner also, these are curated lists but in order that can help any beginner also to become proficient in any chosen area. Another area that ness invested for the employees growth is the certifications path, irrelevant to the domain we are working on if any body is interested they can take up the certification and in ness we have internal trainings conducted to help the employee also so that they can pick any cloud platform and choose to complete the certification. I have got benefitted because its hard to find companies reimbursing the amount that we pay for getting certified in that way ness has gone step ahead to ensure we get certified and give chance to explore that path by working in different projects based on cloud demands. Employees would be duly appreciated for the work they have done for the project, we do get spot awards and also customer appreciation, managers do post the comments about appreciation received from customer as well and this certainly boosts the confidence and lay path for the employee to work more swiftly too. At ness we have different engagements one of it is CSR where as part of corporate social responsibility we do get chance to serve the society, i dont shy away mentioning that ness has indeed played pivotal role recently during the war time where it had extended support for the employees who got affected because of war by providing timely help and migration support as well. During flood times also ness has secured funds in ensuring proper food support is provided for the victims. We do have visits to the oldage homes where you get chance to interact and conduct programs Recommend a Friend ---------------------------- Its been five years i have been part of ness and eager to continue for more years, there is no doubt ness has evolved since the time i have joined be it technology or benefits to the employee and ensuring employee interests are given high precedence. I would definitely recommend ness to my friend
