Pros

Only recruitment agency I would work for, outstanding training and management across the board, consistently supported through everything personally and professionally, and a credit to the industry,.

Cons

Hard work, isn't for everyone, takes a certain beast to do this job!

Pros

I joined Navartis almost 6 years ago and have had my fair share of ups and downs in my time here. The hours are fair, the pay is good and the bonus is generous. You get regular recognition, promotions and pay rises if you are doing a good job and are hitting targets. Regular team and company nights out paid for by the business such as meals out, go-karting etc. Friendly and bustling office atmosphere which is a pleasure to work in. Great training given from senior staff and constant ongoing support from the managers. What Navartis provided me with is all the tools and training to succeed in a hard job.

Cons

Having never worked in recruitment before, I soon realised that the industry is hard and if you don’t have a can-do attitude, recruitment will eat you up and spit you out. I came from a sales background where the product I sold couldn’t change its mind but in recruitment the product you sell is professional people who can change their mind which creates so many things that can trip you up. Recruitment is a hard job but a rewarding one if you can get your head around the process of placing an individual into a senior position. Taking calls outside of working hours is part of the job and a necessary one if you want to succeed in this role. If you want a job where you can switch off at 17:15pm then this isn’t for you. Although, in my 6 years here I can honestly say that the good times outweigh the bad.

Pros

None what so ever

Cons

if the face fits your fine if not then your life is a misery, top down management is a complete farce. my experience of working here was terrible. They say one thing to your face and another on emails and in meeting rooms. not a transparent environment at all! I have never known such a dishonest company. The 'senior management team' are mere puppets and pretty much read from a script from the owner, thinking about it, its very similar to a chicken farm. None of the 'recruiters' in there are actually recruiters but more resourcers. A company full of mediocre resourcers who always underperform but still get rewarded. This is because they don't leave. Navartis do not take very kindly to people leaving and will always make their life a misery for leaving and will try their very best to stop them from succeeding. highly unprofessional and do not recommend for anyone to work here. highly toxic place and avoid like the plague! last point, the reviews on here are from current employees who are 'advised' to leave good reviews to out balance the negative ones, but turd always floats to the top.

Thank you for the time you’ve taken in writing a review. Firstly, I’m sorry to hear that you could find no positives from your experience. If throughout your two plus years with the company you were left feeling miserable then we were clearly not a good fit for you. As you’ll know from your time with us, our business has grown exponentially which requires change. So we accept that this in-turn can be difficult for some employees, particularly those who had been with the company for long periods of time and have seen their positions and standing within the business change. We accept that our environment won’t be for everyone. We also recognise that in the past there was a need for better two-way communication and a more diverse, qualified and autonomous management team and, in some cases, a change of management to allow for better support of our employees as we changed from a small founder-driven company into a much larger international business. We also recognised the need for better ‘change management’ to help employees adapt to a changing landscape. We have taken many positive steps to address these above. We would by no means claim to be the perfect organisation, as the reality of any business or leader in a business – is that we make mistakes, learn from them and improve as we go, whilst doing our upmost to adapt to the changes required for growth in a way that best serves our employees and customers. We do however strongly refute that our business in any way is dishonest, has a lack transparency or that we are mediocre. Our growth speaks for itself as does the feedback from our many employees and customers. We are sorry that you were left feeling negative after your time with us and that you have rated the business, your former peers and colleagues in such a negative way. We hope that in time you feel differently and, more importantly, that you have found a company and culture more suited to your requirements. We wish you well for the future.
