Pros

I liked my team a lot. The people I met at NI were all very kind--and good engineers to boot. I also liked the campus. It features two very nice volleyball courts and a full basketball court.

Cons

The culture differs from that of the sexier tech companies (like startups, Bay Area, etc...). It's pretty laid back and I sense that people spend a lot more time outside of work hanging out with friends and family and stuff like that.

Pros

Very nice and smart people. Good place for a beginner. Everybody, including the managers, are very friendly.

Cons

Slower career growth and payment should be higher. Not a lot of perks.

Pros

It's a very laid-back work environment, and they give you a project to work on that is meaningful to what they're currently working on.

Cons

Not much to complain about, the pay is less than most other tech companies but that's made up by the living costs of Austin.
