Pros

Excellent job experience. Young crowd. Generally nice place to work with lots of flexibility. Senior management is quite competent. They are unlikely to lay you off if they can find a way to avoid that - no matter how bad the economy gets.

Cons

Young people are preferred. There is not much reward for advancing in your career. If you are not an engineer, you can feel very undervalued. If you reach 30 years old, you may feel like you don't fit in anymore. Consider this a 5 year job, at most.

Pros

Very stable job and work environment. Great place for learning and new graduates. Quite a few experienced individuals to learn from.

Cons

Compensation is sub par compared to the industry. Growth is slow. Work is slow. If you're competent, you can do enough in 20 hours a week and still impress management.
