      Used to be a good company with product vision, now just a financially driven machine

      Pros

      NI has one of the best working cultures in the world. Very smart colleagues and motivated.

      Cons

      In 2019-2021 the company seems to have "lost its way." In an effort to focus on mainstream applications, NI has cut off the small and medium customers. No more product innovation. What a shame, NI is killing the goose that laid the golden egg.

      Good environment to work in, with very kind and supportive colleagues. Good work-life balance.

      Cons

      Constant restructuring and policy changes. A lot of time is spent in planning and communicating wide scale changes, followed by more planning and more communication. Opportunities to grow, not very high.

      Good perks. Cultured ethics. If you can decide to move on from team to team you would be a good fit.

      The management's views keeps changing. The career paths are not clear. There are so many people who try to give an opinion on everything that you would do.
