Pros

If you're a star performer...you get outsized compensation.

Cons

If you're average performer..you get below average compensation..but that happens a lot of tech companies now. The company as a whole is not as hard driving as it once was...though certain groups still are. This is not a touchy-feely company, so if you want to hear nice things about your work, this is not the place for you.

Pros

Development at NVIDIA is fast paced. As a general rule, the engineers are smart and have a lot to teach. The benefits are pretty good and the stock compensation still generates substantial value for employees

Cons

NVIDIA has been having growing pains. Many engineers were hired as a result of the success of the Tesla chips, and it took a lot of time for them to ramp up. Other infrastructure (IT, internal web services, development process) are still lagging behind and are more or less unchanged from when the company was 1/4 of the current size. Also, during the recession, many benefits were cut or downsized and they show no signs of returning

Pros

-Flexible working hours. -Gem Engineers. -Ample of slack time to take another job:) or relaxing if you are not that ambititous -Good products -ESOP and RSUs.

Cons

- Bad Management. - Very limited Opportunities. - No Skill/Value enhancement. - No clear definition of career growth. - Ultimate Politics. - Lots of local policies prevail - tailored by local site leaders . - HR department almost non functional. I don't understand why nvidia has hired them either. - Employees not respected and rewarded well unless you are favourite of your manager, (going to smoke together would help you to become favourite) - Waste and spineless Managers. - Not so good pay. - you would be demotivated during appraisal saying you didn't do something great and hence no hike or promotion for you despite you have been doing all that was required.
