Pros

Good pay when the service is there. Flexible scheduling (to an extent) Friendly techs and lube techs to be around

Cons

If the service/sales guys get lazy, expect to average out at $4-7/hr. per day Way too political, Managers/district managers are always changing and implementing new plans. Store location greatly affects equipment quality They recycle techs/sales/management personal too much (transfers to/from other locations)

Most employees are cool but not too many good reasons to work at NTB learn what you can then find another shop NTB is a waste of time

Cons

Pay rate...raises are not given only promotions mechanics receive no over time just straight time.. Strict on overtime for sale associates and general service techs

Pros

Good people to work with in the management area. You are able to acquire People and sales skills if you are in the front.

Cons

The people they hire for the oil and tire jobs are, well not the brightest. Company will not let individual store managers do what they need to do to make the store great. The store I worked at didn't have a battery charger or Jump box. Hello National Tire and "BATTERY" when I asked why I was told there is no $$$$$ in charging batteries. Never had change in the cash drawer, Always had to go next door to the Parts Store to get change.
