Poor Pension, not as hybrid working as claimed - Otherwise Good Company

Base salary is fairly competitive, some of the additional benefits depending on role/grade are also quite good e.g. Management share options The Head Office bonus is also very good when the company outperforms it's targets Equality and Diversity is very strong, the company culture is also good.

Cons

The pension at Next is really poor. 3% Employer contributions on qualifying earnings (real terms that can be 2.5% of salary) Next do not pass on the NI savings made by AVCs Next do not match increased pension contributions - even though they would save more on NI if they did. More information is needed on wide claims there is regular benchmarking of salaries to the market. Moving from 1 to 2 days a week in the office despite significant unhappiness around this. Having 1 fixed and 1 flexible office day is not tenable for people with children

There was no pros working here

Cons

Moved between 3 managers within 6 months. Moved onto legacy software when promised i would be working on greenfield. Forced back into office when hired on a remote basis.
