      Pros

      Despite being a Christmas temp I met some nice people there

      Cons

      Long shifts, extremely short breaks considering the hours worked, very little help or training just sat in front of some videos and pushed out into the shop floor with no training, managers often didn't have any time for new staff as they were often rude or busy .

      Pros

      - Decent pay for a 16/17 year old at Christmas time - A good entry into a retail setting - Uniform did not have to be from Next (weird, I know.) - It was only a temporary position

      Cons

      - Managers are constantly stressed so take their frustrations out on you - Communication is so poor - The stress on the managers impacts their personalities as well as they are constantly on work mode and come across unfriendly and disinterested in both staff and customers - No uniform allowance given to temp. staff; therefore had to buy full price or wear own clothes which is strange - The stock rooms are dark, dingey and not well kept - The Boxing Day sales that cause staff to ruin their Christmas by being there all hours Christmas Eve or 3am Boxing Day morning - it's crazy and not in a good way.
