      Pros

      Good place to work, good team spirit, onsite facilities are great, as is the flexible working. Culture much improved of late, particularly around communication from management. Excellent benefits with shares.

      Cons

      Can be long hours and shifting priorities can be difficult to deal with.

If at times there are issues with your shift or rotas this can be discussed with your Team Coach or Line Manager. We'd also recommend utilising the Online Shift Swap portal which allows teams to pick up and swap shifts to help manage expectations and flexibility.

      Stuck in the dark ages

      Pros

      Individuals within IT Leadership are starting to make a difference Overall the company culture is good

      Cons

      No enterprise level IT Strategy - very siloed and stuck in old ways of working Almost everything is built in house which means developers are often stuck working on old technology - deskilling themselves Immature Project Governance - a tremendous amount of time and money is wasted IT Service Management is extremely immature Culture in IT needs a shake up - PAs still make cups of tea for management! To progress within IT you must remain technical, most Grade 1s started out in developer roles within the business - therefore they don't have a lot of real world experience.

      Hey thanks for the review. Great to see you are experiencing variation in work and working alongside a good team. This is one of the many perks of working alongside our teams in the business. Regarding our Online Discount, as part of our probation period teams and staff receive their Online Discount a month after the role. We'd recommend any questions be addressed with HR or your Mananger.
