      Pros

      Having an open discussion with the employees during appraisal is part of the company culture in NEC India and I support this. Appraisals in NEC India are a transparent process where the employee and the seniors participate equally.

      Despite a collaborative work environment, individuals are not particularly friendly.

      My morale has remained high in the company as the organizational culture ensures fairness in compensating the employees. Performance-based bonuses have been given to me on the basis of a sound assessment, which is overseen by the reporting manager.
