      Tiring 5 day job, expectations are high because Sr. soft. engg.'s knowledge is not good & actual management is not good

      Pros

      Cab facility. Company growth & no. of projects Still thinking if there is any relevant point. For freshers it's a good place to learn. Appraisals are good.

      Cons

      Company timings are very early, it's not so good especially for the people which have small children to take care of. There are NO shift allowances. NHST should provide allowances as they almost daily expects their employees to stay & work. Company & work is not bad, it's just some sr. people who do not want to take responsibility actually & are just busy in showing off they are working but actually it's the MTS guys who are getting complete pressure.

      Pros

      NEC Labs - allows researchers freedom to explore research topics as long as they can find a way to contribute back to the business side of the company. - conducts research in a wide spectrum that enables interesting cross-disciplinary research - healthy dose of interaction with the business side that allows feedback but maintains independence

      Cons

      The company is a bit small compared to other research labs like Microsoft or IBM so it might not be easy to find collaborators. Collaboration between researchers would help a researcher to be more productive.
