Pros

Stability of a large, multi-national corporation. Good official communication and organizational infrastructure. You can shoot up like a rocket if you get in young and do their leadership programs.

Cons

After the Comcast merger, benefits became a little nickel-and-dimey (401K choices became more limited, for example.), and it became a much less creative, more corporate environment. I think as far as mergers go, my experience was probably pretty standard.

Pros

Good benefits. Strong brands. Nice perks for Universal Studios theme park.

Cons

Mgmt is self absorbed and don't allow innovation. Won't invest in new shows for the future. They're kind of obssessed with taking shows they currently have and playing them into the ground. You could say this of any media conglomerate.

Pros

Iconic brand filled with tons of history in television and motion pictures. Truly a unique portfolio of businesses and content.

Cons

Internal cut-throat politics ran rampant in 30 Rock and Los Angeles. Comcast changed the culture of the company. It sucked the life out of this amazing brand and challenged innovation to protect their cable business.
