Pros

Challenging work environment with great benefits. Nice little perks include free soda/water on site and use of golf carts to cruise around the lot. Most of my fellow co-workers have a positive outlook, and enjoy coming to work in the morning.

Cons

With IT, some long hours are required to get the job done. Also, HR could do a better job syncing up with their employees. Sometimes I feel like they are solely there to protect the company, and not the workers. But, as I've experienced with other companies, many employees run into problems with HR.

Pros

To be apart of and create for an established brand is priceless. People are focused, driven, talented and excited to come to work each day. Opportunities to meet folks for mentorship in other divisions are widely availably.

Cons

Managing egos and the political game inside out side of our dept. can be challenging at times.

Pros

The 'NBC Experience.' Great place to gain experience and learn about media. Also, a large majority of the employees are so laid back and easy to get along with -- SOME. Everyone is paranoid, however. They all thing lower lever ppl are gunning for their jobs so as a result, the work attitude is a pain.

Cons

Again, a large majority of the employees are so laid back and easy to get along with -- SOME. Every now and then management would hire "friends" who were so incompetent it made work unbearable. So sold school there is a huge disconnect b/w old staff and new staff. Also, everyone is a "freelancer" so the benefits are horrible. But awesome once you finally become staff!
