Pros

Good exposure to the media industry. Work close to senior level management, giving you exposure for future career growth and opportunities

Cons

Job environment is very competitive as almost everyone starting out has a connection in some way to the industry. Promotions are hard to come by.

Pros

NBC is a recognized brand and the company has deep pockets and provides pretty good resources and support.

Cons

Highly political organization driven by oversized ego's of people who don't rally understand media in the digital age.

Pros

One of the best reasons to work at NBC is the people. You meet some amazing contractors, but there are very few full time staff.

Cons

Little potential for growth. Small benefits package. I feel that the amount of work in this department far outweighs the resources that NBC is throwing at it.
