Great place to work

Pros

Considering that it's a rather large company, NBC does try to encourage a feeling of community among its employees. It's a very dynamic company that encourages career growth, and if you're in 30 Rock, it's simply a fun location. A great place to work at least for a few years if only for the experience.

Cons

Benefits are not great, and depending on the department, salary might not be the most competitive. Because of NBC's new parent company, employee communications and HR seem overwhelmed, and the transition is not going as smoothly as I would have hoped.

Pros

In the time you're there, you will learn more than you ever imagined. Extremely hands-on, managers let interns write articles, and publish them People are friendly Meetings to catch up every morning

Cons

Quick turn-over rate; tons of interns, doors seem to close quickly
