Pros

Fun entertainment environment, valuable support from Comcast management. Lot's of exposure to high level projects, unfortunately, that's because team is realatively spread thin. Get to see many Universal films pre-release! Despite the cons - it's a place you can feel proud to work and even run into celebrities from time to time.

Cons

In Sourcing Department little to no career growth path unless you threaten to leave. Senior most management team doesn't seem to care about employees and all of those senior managers who were loved in the pre-Steve Burke days have left. Not enough vacation days, no bonuses below Director level (this is definitely not banking type benefits).

Pros

Smart people stay here forever until the HR decides that you are going to get a package. They have excellent benefits. Great people to work with and opportunities to grow if you are willing to stick out for a couple years.

Cons

People are let go without cause. This is a very stressful environment with a growing paranoia.

Pros

Great networking and tight-knit feel even though the staff is large and there are multiple sites. You can work your way up (or across) if you are persistent and wear your interests on your sleeve.

Cons

If, for some reason, you end up with a manager that you don't mesh with, work life can be hard. Teams are small and everyone knows everyone (or knows someone who does) so maintaining good relationships and reputations are key.
