Pros

Great benefits - health, investment, life insurance. Notoriety/Recognition of the company. Good for your resume. Variety of departments for the same job - ability to transfer if you get bored of one department. Great resources to learn skills. Employee training program. Nice people. Gym in the headquarters in New York. Beautiful office spaces. Central location in Midtown.

Cons

Prospect of new merger - the direction of the company can go either way. Big corporate culture - chance of not being noticed. Less perks. No ability to telecommute compared to the same department in other companies. Not as employee centric as newer companies.
