Pros

great benefits, pay tends to be on the high side, great co-workers, unique and entertaining industry. Never a dull day.

Cons

Tough business, especially the local stations. Competitive environment. Not for the thin-skinned, timid or sensitive. Management can be a revolving door, so know how to adapt to new leaders or you could go out with the tide. At the local level, not unusual for complete VP turnover when new management comes in.
