Pros

Big operation, professional, great facilities, very talented employees there. Hollywood perks in some ways. Free lunch on Thursday. But, most importantly, the opportunity to learn just about anything in TV production. Taped or live. It's a great way to break into the field.

Cons

Lack of vision. Too much time spent focusing on the competition instead of being original and creative in a field that demands both. Low pay.

A Nightmare

Pros

There are no pros to working here anymore. A combination of horrible management and Comcast has ruined this company.

Cons

A very hostile work environment filled with discrimination and harassment. If you are efficient, work hard and want to learn then this is not the place for you. Extremely cut throat. Instead of focusing on learning and growing you have to worry about who is trying to make you look bad. A political nightmare. I believe the White House to be an easier place to work. The politics at NBCUniversal is on another level. Certain employees are allowed 70+ hours a week which can include working from home and showing up any time of the day. Meanwhile others who abide by all the rules and work hard are getting let go because of "cut backs".
