NASA retaliation

Pros

Get to say you work for NASA.

Cons

Stadr interfered with operations again - recently went into the ops center (where they do not physically work) and turned up all the lights to a painful intolerable level (where people work 12 hours a day and prefer dimmer lighting), then actually said it was for retaliation. Luckily our company fought for the employees and got the lights adjusted to a suitable level within a couple of weeks.

Pros

Great Mission and innovative place to work. Laid back culture and environment. Good pay and benefits.

Cons

Upward mobility can be difficult as there are few opportunities for advancement. There are very few supervisory/management positions. Management seem to be less knowledgeable than their DoD counterparts. You can never seem to get a straight answer to basic questions. Overall leadership quality is poor. Some folks should manage contracts but not people.
