Pros

Brand name recognition looks good.

Cons

No work-life balance at all. Work round the clock. Work gets piled on the performers. Low or non-performers appear to have no consequences. They certainly don’t get more work out on them. On the contrary. When you overlay salary and lack of upward mobility…. Not really one of the top five agencies any more.

Pros

Most of the people I’ve worked with are very nice. The work is always about interesting things. There are a lot of opportunities to change up your work and travel.

Cons

The work pace can be very slow. A lot of red tape to do anything. It’s mostly oversight and reviewing things that contractors are doing. Not much hands on work and not much ownership over what you are doing because you are just reviewing what others have ownership over. Management seems scared to disagree with upper management or fight for their employees.
