Pros

Lots of neat research in aeronautics. Talented and creative engineers.

Cons

There are many things one cannot say in NASA. At the same time people in leadership positions have made big mistakes without accountability.

Pros

Global leader in space and always at the forefront of groundbreaking technology. You are always plugged into a pipeline of crazy ideas and will meet astronauts, astrophysicists, scientists and Congressional staff.

Cons

The culture is very old and you find yourself in a very cynical environment. People get burned out but stay for the job security. As someone who is new to NASA, I get brushed off and dismissed often. Outgoing personalities will suffer here. Cubicles and offices are silos.
