      Pros

      Strong team - Team has very strong working spirit and collaborative in problem-solving especially when there are process issues/customer complaints. You can definitely create a strong bond with your working team during your time there. Structured system and processes - Everything is very structured and documented - all your SOPs, manuals, standards are clearly written, there's rarely any "grey areas" whenever you handle a task. Straightforward and transparent. Highly recommend to fresh grads, or anyone who enjoys working very systematically. High focus on process safety - The company values safety greatly, and to all levels within the company too. Workspaces are constantly optimized to ensure safe & ergonomic work habits. Work life balance - Staff here work like clock-work. They come and go in the fixed working hours. You won't be expected to work OT (with the exception that IF you report to a micromanager) Career stability - Similar to the process there, expect a very stable work life there. 90% of your work is routine based, it is rare to have to handle ad-hoc tasks.

      Cons

      Structure too rigid and difficult to obtain approvals for exceptions - When there is good structure and governance, you will find that the same structure can be very rigid. Approvals for exception cases are incredibly hard. It is rare that you'll need special approvals, but when it does you'll find yourself in a lot of headache. Office politics among management - You'll need to learn to navigate and endure office politics. There will be biased treatment, and the lower grade staff will follow how the managers act, so if one manager does not like you, foresee yourself in a very challenging position when working with your colleagues too. Micro managers who lack empathy are very common there, get used to working like a robot, take nothing personally, and you should be mostly fine. Career progression is slow - It takes long years to move up; most staff work there for more than 10 years, so expect a slow crawl up the ladder.
