      Pros

      - Good work life balance - Good compensations & benefits - Good philosophy created by the founder of Murata.

      Cons

      - Serious Bureaucracy happened in this company and most of the decision making will be overwrite by the top management. - Not transparent on the decision made by the top management. - Some of the top managements giving some wrong information to their employees and deny the information were given by them. - Politics happened on the top management and affecting the employees in lower level. - Bad career development and the effort might not be appreciated by the managements.

      Very slow career progression

      Good place to learn as it's an up and coming industry, Battery manufacturing

      Cons

      Management is too saturated, with nearly 8-9 positions ranging from M1 to GM, this is excluding Managing director and similar positions. Pretty nonsensical to have so many deciding on directions, when the amount of ground workers such as engineers and technicians being so little. Workload is also very high as junior managers are quick to drop their technical projects quickly as they have no capacity to handle further, and resource growth is very low. Current lower level employees are then stressed with technical aspects and management of the jobs. Base Salary is also assessed with based on data 5 years ago. Too many managers, too little executioners. It's a place for learning and retirement, but not for sustenance.

      opportunity to work with cutting edge technology, little bit higher pay as compared to other Japanese companies

      Cons

      very orthodox work environment, no consideration whatsoever for people from different cultural backgrounds, extremely slow growth opportunities
