Pros

central office and good benefits

Cons

You cannot get ahead. Negotiate you salary wisely, you are likely not going to get any opportunity to grow. The culture is meeting heavy, and event heavy. You will have to play so much politics just to get by. They will harass you with the "we value your opinion propaganda", don't fall for it. Just nod, smile and keep your head down. No one knows anything and they refuse to invest in hiring people who do. The appearance of working is more important the actually working.

Dear Colleague, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you value our central office and benefits. We also appreciate your openness in raising concerns about career opportunities, work organization, and aspects of our company culture. These are important topics, and your perspective helps us identify where expectations may not always be met. If the impression arose that feedback is treated as a formality, this does not reflect our standards or ambitions as an employer. We are continuously working to make career paths more transparent, strengthen our communication culture, and ensure that employee feedback leads to concrete actions. We encourage you to reach out to your HR Business Partner to share any additional details or suggestions. Thank you for being part of our team. Best regards, Munich Re
