      Still trying to find itself after years of turmoil

      Decent benefits (seems like they used to be more generous), good work/life balance, telecommuting options

      Cons

      Company philosophy on pay raises has changed from annual increases for most everyone, to manager recommended increases for only star performers, which in practice has meant no increases for anyone in some groups for three years. In addition much of the development engineering and test has been moved overseas. This has resulted in low morale and a brain drain at the company, with lots of experienced engineers walking out the door going to other companies.

      If you are over 30 watch out. They want young college kids they can burn out for cheap. No family and / or luggage.

      Great History a few good people left, but no longer has any innovation or ethics. Great work life balance, good compensation and bonus program

      Cons

      So many to list, but the main one is the company is outright embarrassing. Doesn't manufacture anything anymore. Primarily deals with public safety products, which are designed and manufactured in countries that don't really like us that much. Oversea's software development for our public safety equipment!! Seriously? On top of the fact that most of its business is government money. I hope the new political administration looks into this, because its putting our first responders in harms way.
