Depending on your assigned departement, you are getting pushed to work harder than average at ALL times while you are on the clock, if a manager catches you not "working" you can face a write up and end up being sent home and if warned previously before, suspended/terminated. I worked at Store # 104 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY and to leave after your shift was as equivalent to an airplane waiting to takeoff, you had to wait minutes and minutes for a manager to check your bags to ensure you didnt take anything, the issue with that was the wait, i've waited as long as thirty minutes on several occasions. You work alot of overtime that they force you to work that you dont see on your weekly paycheck, you are underpaid and yelled at alot over the Walkie talkie by managers as if this is the slavery plantation, modells is family oriented, but they need to get their act together pay wise, respect wise, and schedule wise.

Their policies can be unfair at times. There is really no chance for advancement if someone is there before you so you just have to hope they get fired or the leave for a different job
