Pros

Company treats their employees really well. Good name brand, and stable career. If you ever want to switch out of the company, other employers will look at the Microsoft brand with praise. Pays above average. The cost of living in the Washington area is not too high either. The area is really nice in the summer. You will have access to the mountains and lake.

Cons

Some of you might not like the Seattle/Washington area. Personally, I prefer more of urban culture. Seattle is pretty nice, but it rains a lot. Things can also move a little slow at Microsoft, but it depends whether or not that bothers you. Sometimes, it's nicer just having a slower pace work environment.

Pros

Internal Microsoft documents obtained by WashTech News show that Microsoft salaries have been stagnant or nudged only slightly higher over the past two years. Comments from current and former employees about the company's compensation and performance review system suggest a growing level of frustration among rank-and-file workers

Cons

Too long hours and no social life

Pros

The best people to work with and a great environment. Can get to work on the products which impacts millions and that motivates you a lot Good benefits in the industry. Lots of extra curricular activities and parties in the campus and you should manage to enjoy them beside having heavy load of work

Cons

Recognition for the work done Hectic work though you have flexi timing Getting into it is pretty difficult as you a one of the pool of masses and have hopes only if you are from one of the top Universities and posses good CGP. Should be more flexible in hiring
