Pros
I would say that Michelin Tyres is one of the best places to work. The pay, work load, challenges and the general hierarchical structure is simply great. You can have a great work life balance and still learn a lot of exciting things on the job. Now with Michelin India, you might not experience the entire bag of goodies but still a nice place to work nevertheless.
Cons
* Internal politics of a select few could mar your enthusiasm but thats expected in every company. * A major drawback is the distance to work, the plant is located on the fringes of the Andhra border near Periyapallayam and the travel to and fro is one of the most harrowing ever. * Apart from those, I have never felt any negative aspect with Michelin for the 5 years I worked there.
