Pros

Michelin is a good company to start with. I have been with the company for 20 years. The people I work with are really nice. But The management really really sucks. And most people there a kinda dumb so I feek dumb too.

Cons

The salary really really sucks. I hope to make more money once I get a new job. The salary reaise every year is also a joke. With my bacherlors and double masters, I should be making so much more money. But Michelin only looks at work experience within the company.

Pros

Willingly opens opportunities for changes in career specialization. Excellent training in most areas. Strong conservative traditions that guarantee quality products and respect for employees. You can expect fair treatment even in times of re-organization. Stability is the norm in many respects.

Cons

Re-organization intended to make the company more financially stable is reducing upward mobility outside the headquarters in France. Not known for generous salaries, particularly for upper management. While quite flexible for those wanting to change direction laterally, the process for making re-assignments of personnel is quite secretive and sometimes difficult to understand.
