Good pay and decent benefits.

Cons

Your job will not be what you think. You will spend a lot of time doing inspections, signing people in and you will be involved in safe work permitting, If you want to have a job that is a "firefighter" this aint it. The hours are terrible - 12 hour swing shifts that are brutal. always understaffed
