Pros

It is a job that you get money for. It is a job to put on a resume.

Cons

- Management sucks as its led by people who don't care about their employees. - hours are not reliable - good/hard work doesn't get recognized - people who hinder the workplace are not removed painlessly because the union protects lazy workers.

Pros

You can quit quickly, they pay you consistently and on time.

Cons

Staff are very rude and disrespectful to each other. There is little chance of becoming a full-timer, benefits and pay is horrible for part-timers. They promote white men over another people. It is almost impossible as someone of diversity to get a career going. The promotions go to tho0se who are good friends of the store manager.

Was a great place to work until a few month ago, management got extremely strict and unreasonable.
