Pros

If you are open to taking on new responsibilities, you can start to if you have the right manager.

Cons

There is a lack of consistency for part-time staff. Everything is seniority based, including openings for full-time positions and shifts. Management is forced to cut hours from week to week depending on previous sales. While this makes sense in a business, trying to manage your life if you have to get another job can prove difficult.
