Pros

MetLife GOSC : 1) Only good for retirement 2) Give you exceptional Salary hike at the time of joining and even they can give you 100% hike. 3) Very easy to get Job in this company.

Cons

MetLife GOSC : I am not writing these points in the frustration, I want to help other people who are trying to join and thinking they will get good technology work. 1) If you are technical person, don't join this company. It's not the right place for a developer and a technical person. After joining with in two days you will realize that you made mistake. 2) Technical people are joining because interview process is very poor and technical panel also has very poor knowledge that is why people join this company very easily with good hike. And then they stuck. 2) Every time and every day you will compromise with everything because after joining with current salary you will not be able to get job outside. 3) It's BPO Company, not a technology company 4) HR people will tell you that they are having WFH facility but with WFH they are making candidates fools. 5) Office time are really bad(BPO timings also for technical people). 6) Policies are poor. 7) Transport facility pathetic. 8) It's not a product company. 9) Very poor technology work.

Pros

None except you can learn 10x slower than every other investment firm. The old metlife saying is what ever you learn at MetLife in your first 3 years is what others learn in 3 months.

Cons

The firm has no job security, expect a promotion only when people retire. With the recent restructuring it’s gotten even worse with everyone afraid of their jobs. Do not join a burning ship - and find a stable firm with people that care about you!

Pros

Unemployed? Need a job ASAP? Beats being unemployed......but just barely.

Cons

Absolutely no training, Company invest absolutely nothing in your success. Can't keep production numbers correctly, can't pay commissions correctly. Changes a 4 year signed contract in year #2 Causing me to suffer a 33% annual pay cut. Citrix system is down at least weekly so you spend countless time on the phone with the help desk. Nothing and I mean nothing here reminds me of a well oiled insurance company. After the screwing on the contract change I will make what I made in this business over 20 years ago and was only working 4 days a week at that time. I spend hours now having to go behind them just to make sure my commissions are correct. This company care absolutely nothing about it's agents. When all of my concerns are brought up to three different levels of management the response is basically" we are sorry but it is what it is"
