Pros

Snoopy has great benefits and paid time off plans, good telecommuting policies, good internal job posting system, up to date office equipment

Cons

there are system interface issues, especially with older mainframe systems; promotions can be political vs. based on qualifications, advancement can be slow

Pros

Good training for life insurance and annuity products. Local trainers and wholesalers are very good at what they do.

Cons

"If the only tool in your toolbox is a hammer, every problem starts to look like a nail" You can't fix everything with an annuity.

Pros

Highly intellectual executives who try to communicate with staff very often. Great emphasis in understanding how Met makes money. Great attention to customer.

Cons

Very political. Aim is at talking, not doing. Core of the executive group has been together for over 20 years, not very open to accept new comers. Very strong old nutiual culture carried into a public company that at times doesn't behave like one.
