Pros

Felxible work arrangements are extremely helpful, and make the long hours somewhat manageable.

Cons

Extreme amount of hours, meetings during lunch hours, meetings after hours - Management provides no Work/Personal balance....they feel as though they need to do it, so do you. It continues all the way down from the top. You work the long hours, and are not rewarded for it!

Pros

4-month start salary, good brand name, nice office, they give you a manager that will go on sales calls with you (a tremendous resource), decent benefits

Cons

compliance is too inhibiting; management has no clue how to generate business; they're all old school; can't teach you how to build a practice; train you on so many things other than what really matters - generating a ton of appointments; they let anybody in to work there, which to me was disappointing; much of management are slackers who've been in the business for decades; pay is super slow - only 1/10 of your pool every week. after 2.5 years gets very expensive to be there.

Pros

Set your own hours and schedule, decent company benefits, good brand name, unlimited income potential, good variety of products to sell, good access to existing and new product information through webinars and website.

Cons

Difficult to achieve the company's recognition conferences by selling to the average middle income client, and the bar just keeps getting raised every year. Being charged for office expenses when they should already be factored out of any commissions they pay FSR's. Having your commission percentage being reliant on previous sales volume and renewal volumes, and commissions held in a non interest bearing account and distributed weekly @ 10% of total account value.
