Pros

Not really a lot of positives as the company is changing fast, and seems to be wanting out of the personal insurance lines. They did take away charging reps for office rental.

Cons

They cut the payout and in exchange for that gave back very little. I would say in a few years MetLife will not be doing business with its own reps.

Pros

Everyone got a review every year.

Cons

Everyone was rated against each other, resulting in each person ending the year with a numerical rating. The process was awful, as people had to make these decisions jointly about their staff members and compare them to other staff members, and then had to be willing to stand up for their own people if they really wanted them to be seen as outstanding.
