Pros

There is nothing positive about this company. Seriously politics run deep abd hard work is not rewarded.

Cons

Politics dirty politics and no professionalism at all. Stay away from this monster of a company. Stay away do yourself a favor.

Pros

MetLife is a great place to work. There's a lot of work to do, and a lot of really smart people working here. They recently built a brand new, state-of-the-art campus for their Global Technology & Operations department. It's a beautiful campus with lots of ammenities. They are very focused on technology and automation, and there is plenty of room for growth and advancement. MetLife is a stable, well known company and they have really great Insurance, financial and employee benefit products.

Cons

They are in transition and going through some growing pains due to all of the change and movement. It's such a large company that alot of departments work in silos, and the right hand doesn't always know what the left hand is doing. Streamline and simplify your processes. Make it easier to find the internal resources you need to do your job. It takes to long to get things done sometimes.

Pros

Brand name (or whatever is left of it) Few decent staff who are largely left under utilized and overwhelmed

Cons

They have no idea of what they're doing. I was recruited from a well known international insurance company to handle brokers and sales and my role was reduced to that of a receptionist. My so called manager comes to work as if he just got out of bed and delegates all his work to a guy who used to be the office boy. That's equivalent of giving ownership of your house to the watchman. Constantly insulted and put down and the 'senior' staff were just a bunch of bullies. If you're an East Asian and the management is largely from the Levant area, kiss your career goodbye
