I worked for MetLife for 22 yrs and have gone through several changes with the company. The benefits were great. Most people were great to work for/with.

Cons

In the later yrs with the company the management didn't seem to care about their employees.

Relaxed atmosphere to work. Some facilities and 401 and pension plan is good.

Cons

Huge amount of offshoring, the company have layoffs every year or less. It used to be best company to work for. But after consolidation and moving lot of people to North carolina etc its a mess now.
