Like most big companies, there are often conflicting or competing projects, but organizations continue to try to mitigate this.

Pros

Company Culture is very specific to your functional area, some are better some are worse. Provides pension which you vest on relatively quickly. Decent benefits package. I have had mostly good managers. There are a lot of opportunities to move around within the company if you choose to do so.

Cons

High workload, expectation of working above and beyond commonly placed on high performers.
