Large Company; good benefits; opportunity to learn new preocesses

Cons

No opportunity for advancement; when Merck "took over Schering-Plough", they "laid" off extremely qualified people (including myself) without even being interviewed. Merck took their own employees over Schering-Plough employees who had more knowledge and better skill sets. Merck obviously is a very nasty company, that will resort to any means to get ahead. CEO Frazier should be ashamed of himself for driving a company in this manner.
