Good products, good work life balance, very ethical in sales and marketing approach.

Cons

Extremely uncertain future right now. Poor prospects for promotion because of downsizing, not aggressive enough to compete in crowded markets.

Pros

Great Company and there was lots a room to move around. Merck has a great ethical concept of how to run business in a very unethical business. They have taken some major hits legally and have been able to continue on with business. The company does great science and that says a lot about a company who could certainly benefit from aquisition.

Cons

The industry is suffering and many times it didn't feel like a business.
