flexible work arrangements decent benefits potential to move around in company is good

work-life balance compromised (overworked at times) not regarded as highly compensated compared to competitors re-orgs bring on fixed positions for 1yr and unable to move within company during that time

Great pay and benefits; lots of growth and developmental opportunities just given sheer size of co., which is even larger now that Merck has swallowed up Schering-Plough.

Cons

Passive-aggressive culture - slow to change, but appears to be moving in the right direction.

Competitive salary and bonus structure along with the comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, life, 401K, pension plan, choice of company car, etc.). Good work balance between professional and personal time. They treat their employees with fairness and respect. Excellent training and continuing education courses and modules.

Cons

As a sales representative, there were too many field visits per month and quarter. The trust level between management and the sales field was very low in the joint venture MSP-JV team.
