Very good benefits; employees are treated with respect; a great name to have in a resume.

Cons

Limited career advancement opportunities, and those available are often given to those who have been around the longest even if they are not the most competent. Critical to have a sponsor/mentor to push for you.

Good pay, great training, learned a lot of valuable things. This was my first job out of college so I was happy.

Cons

You may get stuck with a micro manager. Very big organization so you feel like just another number a lot.

The Benefits and salary are excellent overall. Especially the retirement package makes it worthwhile to stay. There are also good people overall to work with.

Cons

Pharmaceuticals is a difficult industry given the state of the industry and the economy. It plays an important role in society though.
