Cons

Terrible management. Get ready to earn every cent of your pay check and then some. Older employees pawn off work, work is unbalanced and uneven. Merck prides itself on ergonomics but doesn't know the meaning of the word. Employees are not trained, company is all about MONEY cutting costs and not worrying about employees. VIRKON is terrible! Extremely hard to move in the comapny. Awful home to work ratio, you're always at work and overtime is mandatory.

Great place for a career and not just a job. Plenty of opportunity to show your skills and position yourself for better opportunities as they come. The money is good for the area. Everybody seems very nice.

Cons

No real con. Depending on your job, you my not have much of a work life balance.
