Pros

Salary good for lower delaware.

Cons

..Not paid for dr appts even if scheduled it's an occurance and held against you except for r and d bdg or admin bdg. They come and go as they please. If youre hourly and become sick or hurt they fire you. If you work in the office area you're catered to. So many double standards. Unethical practices, poor management. No people skills. 2nd break is never allowed in most areas.

Pros

Coworkers look out for each other “Extracurriculars” if interested (Fire team, Medical team, etc.) Safety is taken seriously Above and beyond what is normally taught to technicians, good experience levels Free gym

Cons

12 hour swing shifts People that should have be disciplined/fired never were Upper management doesn’t know the first thing about the lab If your site is closing Merck blocks all other sites from hiring you so that you have no choice but to stay on the sinking ship or leave the company (They did this to 300 of us) They don’t care about hourly employees Managers never showed up
